Great advice! My first book, Power Sales Writing, was rejected by 40 publishers. So, I self-published. An editor at McGraw Hill somehow found the book and came to me (those are magical words!) asking if I'd update it and they'd publish it. Then, my editor at McGraw left to become an agent. He came to me (magic again!) to ask if I'd write another book for Prentice Hall/Penguin (How to Say It To Sell It!). It was just released in January. Don't give up! Magic happens.
